Isetan Ramen Kouji

It's good to be back in Japan. I work with 2 Japanese coworkers, Wada-san and Tsuji-san. Wada-san worked in Seattle for a month, and we went to go eat lots of yumm foods. So, he took me out to go eat after work yesterday.

At Kyoto Station, there's a big department store here called Isetan. I never knew that there was a section on the 10th floor called "Ramen Kouji" (ラーメン小路). It translates as "Ramen Path", and there's a bunch of ramen restaurants that represent the myriad of tastes from different Japanese cities and areas. So far, my favorite kind of ramen is tonkotsu, which is milky white from the pork meat and bone broth.

I loved it. I kinda devoured it before I remembered to take a pic. They had a really good spicy garlic sauce to flavor the soup. And of course, you can squeeze fresh garlic too. Thank you Wada-san and Tsuji-san!
